This game is like HP Lovecraft & Rambo had a baby!
The blinding speed, brutal guns, secret areas, and rampaging rock music - Doom I and Doom II is such an icon for gaming.. but zombies?
The Zombie Horde has to pay tribute to this classic and jumping in, selecting "Hurt me plenty" was just a nice reminder of when gaming was just about the gameplay! What does it have to do with zombies? Besides being an awesome excuse to spread some love to John Romero's classic, the first enemies you come up against are Zombies! Zombieman, Shotgun Guy and Heavy Weapon Dude are all zombified enemies which are encountered early in Doom I and Doom II.
Zombieman looking like a real beast ready to unleash havoc! If you haven't played Doom you can grab it on Steam from the link below (Currently 60% off!):

So how does it feel to play move than 30 years from its release?
Amazing... just amazing. This game has been rebuilt so even on a 4k monitor it looks perfect (Visually it is the same as the original - but somehow just works)! The gameplay is fast and brutal dropping you straight into the depths of hell (No story / no garbage - just straight into the action). Today it is very rare to have a gaming experience like this.
The first thing you will notice is just how fast the game moves - your surge forwards at blinding speed and your reactions keep you surviving everything Doom throws at you! The enemies bite back and this game keeps you on your toes.

The sounds of hell are rocking!
Anyone who has played Doom would remember the absolutely pounding sound track - well it has been remastered by Andrew Hulshult (https://andrewhulshult.bandcamp.com/album/idkfa Click the link and press play). The intensity of this soundtrack adds to the speed and insanity of the game play!
